LACA, in collaboration with partners across the York River watershed, is excited to announce the release of the updated State of the York Watershed System report! In 2021, the York River and Small Coastal Basin Roundtable began developing this comprehensive report to address the increasing demand for watershed-related information, and it's finally here.
This new report offers a contemporary look at the status, trends, and opportunities within the York River, Mobjack Bay, and Piankatank River basins. Notably, Lake Anna, which covers over 218,500 acres, plays a significant role in the upper York River watershed and is a key part of this system.
Explore the interconnected dynamics of our environment with detailed insights across three main sections, Our Changing Landscape, Our Water Quality, and The Resources We Steward.
